INVITATION TO BID UNDER EMERGENCY OPEN DOMESTIC BIDDING FOR SUPPLY OF PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPES), DISINFECTION AND BIOHARZARD WASTE MANAGEMENT CONSUMABLES FROM LOCAL MANUFACTURERS FOR NATIONAL COVID-19 PREPAREDNESS AND RESPONSE UNDER A LUMPSUM CONTRACT TENDER REF: NMS/SUPLS/19-20/00073

1. The National Medical Stores has allocated funds to be used for the acquisition of Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs), Disinfection and Biohazard Waste Management Consumables.
2. The Entity invites your sealed bid for the Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs), Disinfection and Biohazard Waste Management Consumables.
3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the emergency open domestic bidding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 7(a) from 8.00am-5.00pm on working days.
5. The Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below at 7(b) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX: 300,000 (Three hundred thousand Uganda Shillings only). The method of payment will be by Cash to the: Account Title: National Medical Stores, Account Number: 0105610661600, Bank: Standard Chartered Bank, Speke Road, Kampala. Swift Code: SCBLUGKA.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 7(c) at or before 00am on 1^st June 2020. Bids shall be accompanied with a bid securing declaration which shall be valid for a period of 120 working days until 20^th November 2020. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 7(d) at 11.30am on 1^st June 2020
