Health and Wellness Initiatives

The Rotary Club of Medical Stars
In 2024, National Medical Stores (NMS) proudly launched its own Rotary Club of NMS Uganda — the first-ever Rotary corporate chapter embedded within a Ugandan public health institution. This initiative reflects NMS’s commitment to community service, health outreach, and staff-led philanthropy.

Maternal & Child Health Support: NMS Rotary is aligning with Rotary District 9214 efforts, contributing to training programs and community interventions aimed at reducing infant mortality and improving child health services.

Community Engagement & Events
The Club celebrated its official kick-off by hosting Past District Governor (PDG) Ken Wycliffe Mugisha, marking a significant milestone in formal recognition and mentorship. Membership and leadership structures are currently being established in line with Rotary norms, supported by District leadership.
