In 2025, National Medical Stores (NMS) proudly launched its own Rotary Club, The Rotary Club of Medical Stars, the first-ever Rotary corporate chapter embedded within a Ugandan public health institution. This initiative reflects NMS’s commitment to community service, health outreach, and staff-led philanthropy.

• Corporate Chapter Model: Designed for government institutions and staffed organizations, the Rotary Club of Medical Stars brings together professionals keen on serving communities through coordinated projects.

• Institutional Leadership: Guided by NMS staff and supported by Rotary District 9214, the club is actively shaping its identity, values, and engagement strategy

• Maternal & Child Health Support: NMS Rotary is aligning with Rotary District 9214 efforts, contributing to training programs and community interventions aimed at reducing infant mortality and improving child health services.

• Health Outreach and Philanthropy: Staff-led initiatives plan to address healthcare access, blood donation drives, and targeted campaigns for vulnerable communities.

• Environmental & CSR Activities: Plans for tree planting, waste cleanup, and sustainable wellness campaigns are underway.
